About Covertside

Covertside is the quarterly magazine of the Masters of Foxhounds Associations (www.mfha.com).  Covertside.net keeps our readers updated in between print issues with news and stories of interest.

Mission

Through these pages the MFHA wishes to reach all who love foxhunting; Masters, staff and field members alike. We will bring you news of recognized and registered hunts, information about foxhunting practice, management, tradition, history, literature, and art. Most importantly we will bring to you the important issues that bear upon the well-being of our sport.  In doing so we hope to delight both newcomers and old-timers.

About the Publisher

E-Squared Editorial Services has been contracted to produce Covertside and e-Covertside. The editorial team consists of Emily Esterson (publisher@covertside.net) and Amy Engle (editor@covertside.net). Emily oversees the operations of the magazines, manages the ad sales staff and serves as liaison with MFHA. Amy Engle assigns the editorial, writes some of the stories, collects photos and dots the “i”s and crosses the “t”s.  We’re both lifelong riders, lovers of outdoor sport, wildlife and all things hound.
