West Hills Hounds’ First Season with New Huntsman

Something was different on November 14, 2009 when West Hills Hounds opened its 61st season: David Wendler wasn’t hunting the hounds. Wendler retired at the end of last season after 54 distinguished years as West Hills’ huntsman. In his place was Scott Neill, a native of New Zealand. Scott spent 14 years in New Zealand and Australia as a huntsman or kennel huntsman, most recently with the Maramarua Hunt on the North Island, south of Auckland.

The HSUS’ Big Ruse

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is the richest, most influential animal rights organization in the world.  It operates in countries worldwide using its international name “Humane Society International” (HSI).  While HSUS portrays all of their organizations as animal “welfare” or “protection” agencies, they are all fundamentally animal rights entities.

“Animal rights” is political and incremental; i.e. all animals have at least some rights that humans enjoy, and ultimately, eventually, they deserve full equivalency to human rights. …
